　　South African scholar in China-Africa relations Dr. Farhana Paruk said in an exclusive interview with China News Network that the Belt and Road Initiative has linked Asia and Africa and contributed to the infrastructure development, employment, and economic prosperity of BRI countries in Africa. She expects further cooperation in the green energy sector under the initiative. She believes that by tapping into the abundant solar energy reserves in Africa, the multilateral mechanism would bring about a promising future.
